Summer recipe - tabbouleh
It's hot so don't want to turn on the stove! Here is our tabbouleh recipe with Goût à l'ancienne olive oil.
Ingredients to make a good tabbouleh:
- 250 grams of wheat semolina
- 1 red pepper
- 1 yellow pepper
- a few sprigs of mint (or for a variation you can add basil)
- 4 beautiful tomatoes
- 1 cucumbers
- the juice of 2 lemons
- salt and pepper to taste
- a good shot ofolive oil Oliv&sens Old-fashioned taste
- Pour the wheat semolina into a large dish.
Instructions:
- Peel the cucumber and cut it into small cubes, add them to the dish with the semolina.
- Cut the peppers, the tomatoes into small dice as well and add them to the dish.
- Chop the mint, squeeze the two lemons, pour everything into the dish.
- Salt and pepper to taste and then pour the olive oil.
- Mix everything well with a fork to separate the grains of semolina.
- Cover and refrigerate overnight.
- Mix well before serving.
For a little sweet/salty touch, add a few raisins to the tabbouleh, it's delicious!
