Sun-dried tomatoes in Aglandau olive oil
A delight on pasta, in a sandwich, as an accompaniment to a salad or a cold meat dish, here is our recipe for dried tomatoes in olive oil Oliv&sens Aglandau
Ingredients:
- beautiful red tomatoes
- an excellent olive oil: Oliv&sens Aglandau olive oil
- aromatic herbs, salt
Instructions:
- Preheat the oven to 100°C.
- Rinse the tomatoes and cut them in half and then in very thin slices.
- Place the tomato slices on the baking sheet (a little tip: put a baking sheet on the baking sheet so that it's easier to clean and the tomatoes don't stick).
- Then, sprinkle the tomatoes with coarse salt, aromatic herbs (thyme, rosemary, Provence herbs, etc.) and a drizzle ofolive oil.
- Bake for 3 hours (watch the cooking after two hours because some thinner pieces may dry out faster than others).
- Take the tomatoes out of the oven (some will be almost like chips) and let them cool.
- Put them in jars (The perfect one) that you will have sterilized before. then pourAglandau olive oil Above. The tomatoes should be covered with at least 1 cm of olive oil. You can also put a bay leaf or two in it.
- Close the jars, place them in a cool, dry place and leave to macerate for a few weeks.
Good tasting !
Note: Once the dried tomatoes have been tasted, do not hesitate to use the olive oil in which they macerated!
