Recipe for mashed potatoes in olive oil
Potatoes go very well with olive oil. Mashed potatoes made with butter are actually delicious with olive oil. However, if you prefer your potatoes whole, pour a drizzle of olive oil over the still warm potatoes and you'll want more!
The recipe is very simple:
Ingredients
For 4 people you need about 800 grams of potatoes and 50 ml ofOld fashioned taste olive oil, coarse salt and ground pepper.
Prep time
After peeling your potatoes, cook them in boiling salted water. When they are cooked pass them through a potato masher.
Put the puree in a dish, add 50 ml ofOld fashioned taste olive oil and stir. If the puree still seems a little dry, add one to two tablespoons of cooking water.
Finally, add coarse salt and pepper to taste.
