Sweet recipe: Lemon and orange cake
A great recipe for a Wednesday snack (and enjoy the citrus season while there is still time).
Recipe from the 750_green account (which I thank for sharing).
For my variation of the recipe, I replaced the poppy seeds with sesame seeds (simply because I didn't have any in my cupboards) and the sunflower oil with theAglandau olive oil ...
Ingredients for 6 people:
- 3 eggs
- 185 g flour
- 100 g cane sugar
- 100 g yoghurt
- 1 lemon
- orange
- 50 gAglandau olive oil
- 1 tsp baking powder
- 1 tbsp. sesame seeds (or other)
- Salt
Instructions:
- Oil the mold.
- In a bowl whisk the eggs with the sugar, lemon and orange zest.
- Add the yogurt and whisk.
- Add the flour, baking powder, seeds, 2 pinches of salt and mix just to incorporate the flour.
- Add theAglandau olive oil, lemon juice and orange juice and whisk.
- Pour into the cake tin and bake for 35 to 40 minutes in a preheated oven at 165°C.
